The Queen Elisabeth Competition for Violin 2012 is nearing it’s finale. Andrey Baranov is my favorite. He played a wonderful version of the Prokofiev Violin Concerto on Thursday.

This Saturday, a series of never before seen photos of Marylin Monroe are up for auction. It’s a collection of pictures taken by Alan ‘Whitey’ Snider, Monroe’s life-long make up artist. This one’s my favorite. For all the skin over bones models of these days: this is what a gorgeous woman is supposed to look like!
